first thing i did when i got back was to test the camera between the pixel 7 and pixel 6. i cleared the camera cache yesterday and reset the phone. when i took a few comparison shots, they looked nearly identical, the white glare that i saw yesterday was gone. so maybe it was just a software glitch after all, and i don't need to send back the pixel 7 for servicing. i still need to test some more to make absolutely sure, but it's a promising development.
for lunch i made myself another egg kielbasa bagel sandwich.
i retroactively updated photos on some old blog postings, just so i can clear even more space off of my macbook pro.
for dinner i reheated the leftover rice noodles, added a teaspoon of chili oil sauce. i also finished some leftover salad greens i had in the fridge, made a simple salad with toasted sesame dressing. i was surprised the greens hadn't gone bad yet. i ate while watching the raiders-rams thursday night football game on amazon prime. the raiders were up 13-3, i figured they'd win for sure. it wasn't until a few hours later when i saw some comment on the patriots subreddit that i quickly learned that the rams had come back to win the game in the final seconds, under new quarterback baker mayfield, who was just traded to los angeles from the carolina panthers on tuesday. with less than 2 days of preparation, he was able to lead a brand new team to victory was pretty incredible.
