TLDR: biked into boston in the cold for an early morning teeth cleaning, followed by some asian supermarket grocery shopping. helped set up the wyze pan cam in the cafe and my sister's place: limiting factor is the usb charging cord length, but otherwise the camera is very good, many features, easy to set up, very wide angle. my 2nd aunt's moto E4 ($100) arrived after sunset and i rode to harvard square to get it activated at the verizon office. returning home, i discovered i dropped my oneplus one. went to the harvard science center to ask for the lost & found, spoke with 3 different security guards, none of them could help me. feeling lousy, returned home to shop for a new phone, when somebody (donald) called me to let me know they found my phone. returned to the science center (alpha station) and finally retrieved it, all is well in the world again.
later in the evening had a scare because the internet seemed to be down at the cafe, so i was afraid there might be a fire because of the malfunctioning basement furnace. was going to take a quick motorcycle ride (night temperature in the 20's) to make sure but discovered my sister was home so asked her to take a look and everything was fine. spent the rest of the night setting up my aunt's phone.
