i was taking my mother to haymarket this morning, meeting in harvard square at 10:30am. she called at 10am, said she might be late because my father wasn't back at the cafe yet, but just at that moment he came back. i also told my mother that porter square station is actually closer for her, so we decided to meet there. since we wre in the area, we stopped off at porter square michael's first so my mother could check out the yarn selection. she didn't buy anything, but a made a note of what they had.

we left porter square station around 10:40am, arriving in downtown crossing at 11am, making a beeline to primark so my mother could return a shirt she bought last time. the return/customer service counter is actually located at the farthest corner of the store, all the way up on the third floor. they do this on purpose probably, because there was a long line (half of dozen) of people returning things. while i waited in line, my mother went browsing. after returning the item, we went in search of the bathroom as my mother had to go again. she blamed it on her high blood pressure medication, which makes her urinate more often. funny, i take thiazide as well, and the same doesn't happen to me. afterwards we went in search of the same shirt, but in a different (larger) size. i ended up buying something this time around, a pair of shorts for just $7. i even tried on a few sizes. i needed a 31 but could only find 30 and 33. 30 was too tight, while 33 was a little loss but comfortable. after i decided on 33, my mother found a pair of 32, but i didn't want to go back to the changing room, so decided to stick with 33.
