i regret my decision to take the bus this morning when i could've biked. i thought there'd be more rain, and there were times when the sky darkened ominously. but by the time i started walking, it was only a very light sprinkle, and halfway to harvard station i'd already put away my umbrella. i thought about turning back and getting my bike instead, but i played it safe, just in case the weather turned bad, i didn't want to get caught in a sudden downpour. and if i skipped the bus ride, i would've then missed the drunk puking behind an equipment box at the station just a few feet away from where i was sitting. i used one of the charlie tickets to ride the bus which arrived late.

we left for errands soon after i arrived in belmont. we drove the honda element, first time it's been out in many months after we put in a new battery yesterday. one of the wheels was a little flat (front right) and we had to pump it (to 35psi) with the noisy air compressor before leaving. we went back to the waltham costco to fix the overcharge error on the battery. it was definitely more crowded today, the nicer weather yesterday probably drove people outside, the cloudy weather today driving people back inside. after getting a $13 refund, we went upstairs to the main costco. we didn't have a cart but my mother commandeered one that looked empty.

the original plan was to visit OSJL on the other side of waltham, but my parents decided to return home instead. i didn't eat yet all day and had some costco wings when we got back. my father read in bed before taking a nap, my mother watched korean drama on dramafever streaming via chromecast. i went in search of snacks in the kitchen and surfed the web. it pretty much stopped rainy by the afternoon, but the sky kept cycling between periods of sunshine and intense overcast.

after dinner my father gave me a ride back to cambridge. we took a detour and i showed him the 4 new solar installations around observatory hill. after a shower, i watched episode 2 of westworld on HBO streaming (9pm) before watching deception on ABC.
