GC went to work today at 10:40am and came back around 6:30pm. it rained for much of the day. the cool wet weather was quite soothing and i opened a bunch of windows to air out the house. the kitchen still smells fishy and i lit a candle and an incense to cover the odor which didn't really help. my father stopped by briefly, talking about about sort of trees we should get. once the rain stopped, i went to the community garden around 6pm. not to water (not with all that rain) but to see if the gazania had flowered yet, which unfortunately it didn't. i returned home and while inspecting some garden photos, noticed slugs on my zucchinis. so i went back to the garden and destroyed 3 slugs with my bare hands, one of the most disgusting things i've ever done, since typically i wouldn't each touch a slug. for lunch and breakfast i continued eating leftover barbecue: a burger and a corn for lunch, 2 more burgers for dinner.
