it's been 3 years since i last went to a wedding, and now suddenly within the span of just a few days, i am going to 2 weddings. the last wedding i went to was when i was still in changshou, in march 2014 for fangdan's wedding. i actually had to invite myself as i wasn't originally on the guest list (all it cost me was RMB600 in hangbao). it was a traditional chinese wedding, with all sorts of traditions and customs that i didn't quite understand but was fascinating to watch.
