i went with my sister to winchester fells today. the best time to go would've been on monday, the day after our sunday snowstorm, with all the trees still covered in snow. but it would've been hard to walk, as the trails were probably all still buried. i came 2 winters ago as well around the same time. the fells get a good deal of traffic even during the winter, and i was surprised that most of the trails were already exposed from all the people walking on them, compacting the snow.
getting out of the house gave me an opportunity to play pogo. second generation pokemons were activated last night, and seems like almost every pokemon i encountered was one that i'd never seen before. even in the forest, far away from civilization and pokestops, i managed to capture a few new pokemons. good thing i had a large supply of pokeballs.
