massachusetts had a rare thursday primary courtesy of the labor day long weekend. although there was no candidate of note on the ballot, i went to go vote anyway because it's my civic duty and also because i had nothing else to do. i did a little bit of research on the different candidates but it's surprisingly hard to find information about local politicians online. in the end, i voted because on whether i thought they had a cool name, or if had an address i recognized.
