i went with my father in the afternoon to costco and picked up a new electric toothbrush to replace the one mary destroyed. but later in the evening i managed to disassemble the old electric toothbrush and fix it, which now means i don't need the new toothbrush anymore. for dinner i turn the leftover rotisserie chicken into some savory stock and cooked it with some vermicelli rice noodle.

i also bought a box of led bulbs for my kitchen recessed lights. i've been meaning to replace the current halogen bulbs because they use too much electric compared to led's, but i always thought they were too expensive. but the ones at costco were super cheap ($2/piece) due to instant energy rebates so i couldn't resist. unfortunately the ones that i got - BR30 flood lights - poke out from my canisters too much that there's an uncomfortable glare when i go into the kitchen. i'll need to replace them with PAR30 spotlight bulbs, which have a flatter reflector (compared to the bulged reflector of BR30 bulbs).
