i didn't go outside at all today. i only opened the door in the late evening just to know what it feels like to be at 5° F. the verdict: cold! but my skin didn't explode from the sudden change in temperature. maybe tomorrow - while it's still cold - i'll go outside and get some photos. not a good day to be biking though, as the roads are dotted with frozen ice. i nearly slipped off my bike yesterday coming back from a grocery run because of an ice slick.

the one constructive thing i did today was to create a desktop app using os x automator that runs exiftool in a shell script to strip geotag data from phone photos. prior to that, i was doing everything manually with unix commands.

english muffin for lunch, then leftover rice porridge for dinner.
