* my cough/runny nose had disappeared enough that i decided to get a haircut at the chongbai mall, ended up taking 2 hours (my stylist was a chongqing guy who used to work in shanghai and had a taiwanese girlfriend he almost married; that pretty hostess girl was there too, she recognized me and treated me to warm milk and cakes while i waited; i also bumped into the taciturn korean from the drafting department who was more talkative tonight, i learned he has a girlfriend in korea whom he's expecting to marry next year)
