i just have to resign myself to the fact that i wake up late during the winter months. something about the cold makes me want to stay in bed a bit longer. however, it gives me a very short window of daylight, and before i know it, it's dark again.

not much happened today. i spent most of the day processing photos for past missing blog entries. it seems like the more photos i take on a given day, the less likely i have time to go through them all and i end up with missing posts.

in the afternoon i biked to belmont. my mother was home, recuperating from her early morning doctor's appointment. i stayed for dinner, some beef noodle soup. lying on the bed, i fell asleep for half an hour before returning to cambridge. i wasn't looking forward to that cold night time bike ride.

drew and i ended up watching the miss universe 2012 pageant. he was rooting for miss philippines, while i was sure miss venezuela was definitely going to win, with maybe miss usa as a runner up. olivia culpo of united states (rhode island) ended up taking the crown.
