after a good night's sleep, i felt mostly recovered from a long and tiring weekend. i fixed myself a turkey sandwich before taking the motorcycle to belmont in the early afternoon. later, when my parents got back from their own trip to new york city, i drove to alewife to pick them up. we decided to have dinner in the late afternoon (because they'd just gotten home and were hungry) so i managed to return to cambridge earlier than usual.
