2010

after lunch i went down to harvard square to deposit a cash loan from my mother into my bank account. i was hoping the rain would let up but it doesn't look to be stopping until sometime wednesday at the earliest. at least it was warmish, with temperature in the 50's. by the time i came back home my pants were soaked.

in the mid-afternoon i got a ride from my father to belmont. we first paid a visit to the porter square ace hardware store to look for a plastic/rubber mailbox. my parents were thinking about buying an HD camcorder so the whole family went down to the watertown best buy to see their selection. unfortunately they didn't have any of the samsung models we saw online. we were asked for help every few minutes and i managed to set off their gadget alarm three separate times. later we went to the nearby target, where my sister managed to get everyone upset by spending more money she doesn't have.

back in belmont, my father helped me drill some holes in the bottom of 16oz. clear plastic cups i picked up earlier for planting purposes. after some chinese dumplings for dinner, i printed out another sign and helped my mother put some new songs on her ipod before getting a ride back to cambridge. i noticed my upstairs neighbors were home, after a weeklong hiatus. i was afraid maybe they died in their sleep and was waiting for the police to show up.
