i was at client N's office for about 2 hours, first loading up the interactive onto the computer and then fixing a few minor bugs and edits along the way.
by the time i left, it was raining even harder than before. i wasn't as worried returning home, since i could jump into the shower right afterwards, but it was definitely a rough ride. the rain was coming down so heavily that i felt like i was drowning, and visibility was so bad that i decided to put on my bike lights beforehand just so cars would be able to see me. i also had my laptop with me, inside a messenger bag wrapped in several plastic grocery bags. it was a pretty miserable experience but i didn't let it show, whistling while i pedaled through puddles deep enough to be almost underwater. approaching harvard square, i cut around the perimeter of the campus as a short cut to get back home. i took off most of my clothes before actually stepping through the front door because i was completely soaked and didn't want to track water throughout the house.
i stayed indoors the rest of the day, even though i was tempted to go back outside just to get some photos. i had some buffalo wings for dinner while watching a monday night lineup of chuck, life unexpected, and castle.
