my neighbor margot got locked out of her house this afternoon. at first i didn't know what was going on, i saw her outside talking with a police officer and i thought maybe she got burgled. but they were outside for a while, so i started to suspect it was something else. then a fire engine truck came down the street. i think it's kind of wasteful for them to send out a full squad just to open a first story window, but that's what they did. it makes me think i should hide a spare key somewhere outside the house. i've been locked out once before, but i managed to call my parents who have a spare set.

so that's the extent of saturday's drama. i played some wii fit again, this time lowering my wii fit age to 31. i'm probably going to give the wii fit away to my mother and sister tomorrow, they seem to need it more than i do. besides, i have my own thing, which is running. i'm going to miss that hula though; i graduated to advanced hula today, feels just like normal hula, except you do both clockwise and counter clockwise rotations for a total of 3 minutes. i actually managed to build up a sweat with 400+ rotations per turn. maybe i'll invest in a real hula hoop so i can work on my hip shaking techniques.

i finally managed to finish all the leftover fried chicken. there's a point when that stuff gets disgusting and i almost reached it. and in light of my recent doctor's report, eating all this fried (and salty) food wasn't doing me any favors.
