cooked up the last of my lamb broth for some noodle soup lunch. what better way to spend a cold day than by eating a hot meal? i like watching the noodles boil in the pot, how the water churns each individual strand and forms a whirlpool of carbohydrated goodness.

after i was done eating, i left for harvard square to go pick up my watch. $3 for the battery but $7 for the service. i went to the coop briefly to go browse some books, making a mental list of the ones i'd later order online.

i finally got around to doing some code work for client N later in the evening. i knew it's going to be my weekend project but the more i do tonight the less i'll have to come sunday night. i chopped up the graphics, which normally takes half of my time. i remember the good old days when i had others do this work for me. how times have changed!
