i love staring up at the blue sky. it's the easiest indicator that nice weather is ahead. when i see a blue sky i just want to go outside. today would've been a great day to go running but i got lazy and rationalized myself out of some exercise, figuring i'd get my share tomorrow when i'll most probably going to go out naturing again.

i only went out to get some snacks and some halloween candy. i'm not even sure if i want to give out candy this year, i only got 3 kids last year, and one of them i actually had to stand in my doorway and call over to get some free candy. the problem is i live near a private street that every halloween transforms into a children's amusement park, so all the neighborhood kids go there and only stop by my house as an afterthought. and the fact that my upstairs neighbor never gives out any candy doesn't help the situation either.

steak & cheese sandwich for lunch, a pot pie for dinner, got sucked back into playing diablo ii again (i'm a barbarian again). watched monday night football, patriots versus the vikings. a good game if you're a pats fan, a nightmare if you're rooting for the vikings. i just want another sports parade come wintertime. is that too much to ask?
