i went down to the doctor's office on cambridge street this morning to get my blood drawn for some routine tests. i thought i'd have to give an urine sample as well so i didn't go to the bathroom but they only needed blood. next i went to pearl in central square to get a traveling notebook. coming back i stopped at the wine & cheese cask to pick up a bottle of chilean diablo wine. all this accomplished before 11am. there's been days when i'm just getting out of bed at that time.

little did i know my day was just getting started: i got an e-mail from client P and went down to their office in cambridgeport to do some on-site debugging. i didn't leave there until almost 3 hours later. i came home and finally had some lunch, a bowl of cheerios. i visited bruce briefly to give him some photos i took yesterday. not yet 2pm, i worked a little bit before going with my parents to chinatown to get some groceries at ming's market.

we raced back to cambridge, where my father dropped me off at my place and i motorcycled to the cafe to get some dinner (chinese dumplings), before heading out to boston common to rendezvous with eliza. earlier she wrote me to ask if i wanted to go see that al gore global warming movie, but she never responsed to my e-mail reply and 3 phone calls all landed in her voicemail, so she better have a pretty good excuse for cancelling. i went home instead, worked a little more (it was already 7pm, but there was still so much sun outside, it felt earlier than it was), before calling it a night.

i'm excited about this weekend: i'm leaving for NYC tomorrow afternoon to see two parades, the mermaid parade and the pride parade. although the forecast seems to be a rainy next few days, hopefully there's going to be some insane photo opportunities.
