i met anne this morning at 10am to help her with some computer stuff. she told me of her recent trip (3 weeks in spring) to vietnam and cambodia. and we were able to compare our observations. i stayed for about 3 hours, explaining everything from color printing to cd-rom backup, before coming back home. my side of the street was empty because of street cleaning earlier. a brief thunderstorm passed through the area; i went out and brought in my day bag which i'd been drying outside after washing it last night with poison ivy remover. my father came by briefly to deliver a monitor, and then later my mother dropped by with some ingredients for tonight's dinner. after she left i fell asleep in the living room. i woke up hot and groggy, took a quick shower before julie showed up. i made cold sesame noodles for dinner and we had the rest of the flan from this weekend.

and congratulations antoine walker on winning the NBA championship. looks like miami was able to give you something that the celtics could never do. now maybe paul pierce can go to a different team and win a well-deserved championship of his own. (spoken like a disgruntled former celtics fan!)
