trapped at home all day because of the rain! but it was a good excuse to just hang around the house and not have to do anything, listening to the heavy rain falling outside. i watched a movie on television, quigley down under (1990), about an american cowboy played by tom selleck who goes down to australia as a hired gun. when he realizes the lucrative dingo-hunting job he came here for is actually a front for aborigine extermination, he sides with the natives and puts his sharpshooting skills to good use against the intolerant settlers. lara san giacomo plays a crazy woman who hitches up with the cowboy.

a bagel for lunch, some leftover lasagna for dinner. watched the red sox lose to the tigers, then an episode of hustle on AMC.
