while vacuuming the kitchen last night i discovered i had a mouse problem. i was cleaning behind one of the shelves when i noticed all this debris. that's when i realized a mouse had been pilfering my food supply, chewing through bags and boxes of food. i cleaned everything up and promised myself i'd get some plastic bins to put my perishables. this morning when i checked the shelf again, i noticed some fresh bite marks on a box. the mouse came back! and why wouldn't it? if i hadn't noticed, it could've lived in my house all throughout winter eating up all that free food. for a split second the thought of setting up some glue traps entered my mind, but i could never do it, it's just too cruel. given the choice, i rather have a mouse living in my house than a cockroach. the way i figure it, once i lock away all my food inside of sturdy plastic containers, the mouse won't have anything else to eat and move away.

today, a fistful of work, oatmeal for lunch, some chinese dumplings for dinner. i tried to cancel my buydig.com camera order but i couldn't get into their lousy customer service department and in the end i just wrote them an e-mail asking to cancel my order.
