very soon it will be 4am and i will probably go to sleep after working an 18 hour day. i am exhausted to the point of delirium after animating 40 appliances. it's difficult to move around, i can really feel the force of gravity pulling me down to the ground. as tired as i am, i am also relieved that i finally finished, and now i'm feeling some of that post-project high (a bit premature though, i still have to tie up some strings tomorrow, but the bulk of the work is done, until the next deadline that is). i wasn't entirely working the whole 18 hours however; i went with julie to the galleria mall around noontime to play around with the macs at the apple store. judging by how crowded the place was, you'd think everyone was using a mac. i've decided that if i ever have $3000 to spend, i'm going to buy an apple 30" cinema display. that monitor is so beautiful and large that i think i will be dreaming about it tonight and many nights to come. we also ran into joel, walking around the mall on his lunch break from jury duty.

coming back, we stopped by skampa (424 cambridge street) and got calzones (i got the steak bomb calzone for $6.95). the woman behind the counter warned me it was big. i didn't realize how big until she came out with our orders, portions so big that they'd only fit inside a large pizza box. once i got home i started eating. despite the fact that i was hungry (didn't have breakfast or lunch), i only ate a quarter. my mother came by and helped me eat another quarter. the rest i shared with jawei for dinner.
