that talk of work i was going to finish today? didn't happen. wasn't like i was taking it easy all day, i was busy working (so busy i didn't even eat lunch), but there was just too much code to write. and then the red sox started at 4pm and there was no way i could continue working with such an important game on television. the red sox ended up losing; overall it's been a pretty disappointing week. as soon as the game ended i got on my bike and took off, went to belmont to get some late dinner at my parents' place before returning to cambridge an hour later. early this morning my father drove jawei to chinatown, sent him on a bus trip to new york city and washington dc for the weekend. the place seemed kind of empty without him. as much as i like living alone, i'll miss him when he goes back to taiwan in november. with the house all to myself, i indulged and took a bath. nothing fun this weekend, other than to finish up my work.
