when i arrived at work this morning, i was showered with gifts katrinka had brought back from her florida vacation, for taking care of her cat and fishes. i got one of those dashboard hula girls, but instead of a girl, it was a dolphin wearing a coconut bikini top and a grass skirt. i also got an orlando, florida keychain with the name "tony" on it.
after our company meeting, kristine and i went running in this freakishly warm weather, temperature approaching 60 degrees. i went out in nothing more but a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. kristine wore shorts as well (they looked like they were formerly sweat pants but cut into shorts, even though kristine said they came like that) but had a hoodie. even though it felt like we were going very slow, we actually came back after about 35 minutes of running, which i find to be incredible, since we even walked at a few points, and took a detour looking for a place that sells mbta subway passes, but still managed to get back to the office under an hour. i think we must've ran through a wormhole of some sort and distorted the spacetime fabric.
coming home, i went to central square to get some felt (all sold out, except for a few ugly shades of green, which i took anyway, no choice), a piece of magenta poster board (they were out of black), and some glitter. at porter square, i went to cvs to see if my high blood pressure medication subscription had come through yet (not yet), and to hand in my cvs discount card form, where i immediately received a card. big savings here i come! other than star market (aka shaws), cvs is my second most shopped at store. i visited the cingular store on somerville avenue, talked with the guy about some of my wireless options. cingular has a pretty sweet deal with their rollover minutes, but i'm worried about their coverage, like a vast portion of upper new england isn't included, including vermont, new hampshire, and maine. but when am i ever going to visit those states anyway?
