jeff seems to realize that this would be my last week working for him. when i told him yesterday, he was like "we'll see," as if i had no free will and he was solely able to decide if i could stop. but today i told him again, so the stage is set: two more days of painting and then i'm done.

a beautiful day today, but i wasted it all by spending most of the day indoor. i thought about going outside and doing something fun in the sun, but time flies when you're thinking about doing something fun in the sun, and it was already too late by that time. i transplanted some seedlings into the bigger long planter, the only constructive thing i did today. and i rinsed out the weber barbecue grille. and brought out the trash. and stowed the junk bike down in the basement. wow, i'm tired already, nap anyone?

andrew and i ate the food (large chinese meatballs with two side dishes of cucumbers and beans) my parents had prepared for me sunday night but i never got around to eating them until tonight. we watched an episode of inside the actor's studio with local phenom ben affleck followed by nova documentary about an unidentified german u-boat wreck 60 miles off of the coast new jersey, which was unintentionally funny, despite three diving deaths.
