i made scrambled eggs with mint leaves and habanero peppers. the mint flavor was kind of weird (i've always considered mint a dessert flavor, not suitable for normal foods), and i couldn't taste any of the hotness from the peppers. immediately after i finished eating, shannon showed up on my doorsteps, needing to borrow my computer so she can burn a mix cd for a friend. we watched goldeneye, which was playing on television, both of us relishing in the dialogue. at the midway point of the movie, alex wong dropped by my place unannounced. when shannon finished up her cd around 4:30pm, she and i walked to harvard square while alex went back to porter exchange. i had to pick up the high blood pressure drug i had ordered on wednesday from cvs, then later we went to cardullo's. while shannon took the t back home, i decided to walk it instead. i met my parents and sister at my place, where we went to wang's outside of ball square for dinner, being that it was my father's birthday yesterday and my birthday in a few more days. we came back to my place, where we had cake, afterwards everyone left, leaving me to watch the rest of the nba all-star game while taping alias and kingpin.

i think i also caught a cold. i'm sneezing all the time, my nose is runny, and occasionally i'm congested. i knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. i just need a lot of fluids and a lot of rest, both which i have a good supply of. i've blown my nose enough times today though that my nose is starting to hurt.
