today's events in no particular order: watched jenny jones - this morning's episode was "busty babes, skimpy gear" and the show ended with the girls getting a conservative makeover while the mob audience decided through placards and catcalls as to which look was the best (invariably, slutty always won over business suit), chastised by paula for being unfaithful to apple, used os x for most of the day (even though i'm on record as saying how much i dislike it), gave erin my family's secret hot and sour soup recipe, briefly grilled by rob house about my love life (lack thereof), rearranged my living room furniture (what little i have), hung out on craig's list and made a few contacts concerning possible monitor and sofa purchases, briefly thought about getting a roommate for the month of december to earn a little extra cash but figured it was more hassle than it was worth and i'd only do it if i found myself with an empty bank account, decided that the 4x6" bokhara rug in my living room is too small and will take it back to the store for an exchange (a bigger one, 6x8"), my parents came by for dinner (nothing i made, they brought over some pork buns, we ate it along with the kimchee sitting in my fridge), i made raisin english muffin ham & cheese sandwiches for lunch, and later i cooked up some homemade flan (ready made mix though, no eggs were harmed in making my dessert, along i did use sour expired milk, but i figured heating it up would kill all the germs), my father helped me install the coat rack in the coat closet (looks perfect, i'm so proud of that red coat closet) and added another set of coat rack in the guest bedroom closet, and i didn't set a single foot outside the house today, i only knew of the weather from watching the news and reading about it on the web.
