so instead of sleeping at 4am last night and waking up very tired, i went to sleep at 2am last night and woke up very tired instead. i really need a couple of good nights of sleep. but doesn't everyone, really? why state the obvious?

at work, standard issue friday, nothing too interesting. end of the day i did hear some very bad news but nothing i can reveal at this point in time (wait until next week). i ended up not running, i ended up not going to the grand opening of h&m at dtx, i ended up not going to chinatown to have pho for lunch. pretty much everything i planned on doing today i ended up not doing.

i talked with james today in his office of solitude on the 2nd floor. i demonstrated the nikon coolpix 950's amazing macro capability. he's interested in buying one because he does a lot of selling on ebay and needs a good camera that can capture small details and show good colors. could i have talked another person into buying a 950? that's the 6th person i've directly influenced into purchasing a coolpix (that is, if james decides to buy one). if my current job doesn't pan out, i think i want to work for nikon selling their cameras. also, i saw the rumored poster of jame's wife on the back of his office door. va-va-voom!

i took the motorcycle to work today, and i couldn't wait to ride it home. riding home is always more relaxing, although occasionally there's more traffic. i'm not racing against time like i am when i go to the office, and it's warmer late afternoon than it is early morning. even when i get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on memorial drive i don't mind it so much because it gives me time to watch all the joggers and bikers on the trail. so when the clock struck 5pm today i was out the door and on my bike.
