i went to bed last night at 4:30am. can you believe i was up that late working on this website? the personal sacrifices i make for the sake of this weblog! the result was i was in a world of hurt today at work, slipping into unconsciousness while sitting at my desk as the day wore on.
working late and not getting enough sleep the night before. i feel jet lagged. on top of everything else, there's a heat wave in progress all week long, and the weather has been hot and humid throughout the day and into the night. i just want to get to bed asap. if i don't get a good night's sleep tonight, i'm going to be in bad shape tomorrow.
today was also the first day of my gym membership, and i was all ready to go except i forgot to bring my gym lock so that gave me an excuse to back out of going to the gym. isn't it enough that i'm enrolled at a gym, and an expensive gym at that? do i actually have to go there as well? we'll see how tomorrow goes, there might be a chance john and i might try visiting the gym around lunch time.
so if i'm serious about the gym tomorrow, then i better get serious about sleeping right now!
