i was going to wake up for the cambridge half marathon starting at 7:30am this morning, but i just couldn't get out of bed when my alarm went off at 6:30am. not only was it cold outside, but it was also raining, and the idea of staying in bed instead was just too tempting (i also went to sleep around 4am last night). besides, what so fun watching people running in the rain? actually, that is kind of fun, but better luck next year.

the patriots played in mexico city versus the oakland raiders. new england won, 33-8, a thoroughly lopsized game for the mexican fanbase. sucks if you're a raiders fan, great if you're a patriots fan. i think it helped that the pats had practice this past week at high elevation in order to deal with the equally high elevation of mexico city. raiders made no such preparation, but even if they did, i think they would've still lost, maybe not as much.
