i'm drunk. i had a quarter of a whole bottle of guizhou chinese white wine at 50% alcohol by volume, on top of that a large bottle of beer (which i managed to partially spill because i was drunk). my drinking companions were impressed. i was already drunk in the first few minutes, but i'm pretty good at hiding it and my face doesn't turn red like some chinese people. i've got good drinking genes apparently. everything is soft now, i feel like i'm floating on pillows and i can hardly feel my arms or legs. everything i do is in big broad strokes i'm not capable of my detailed action. i'm ready to pass out now. i had hot pot dinner with 5 of my coworkers. i treated, RMB$330, about US$54. sound seems muffled and everything feels soft, like there's no edges. i'm probably going to watch a little tv and then go to bed early. it feels nice being drunk after a week of work, i just hope i won't have to pay for it tomorrow morning. at least i'm a happy drunk.
