not much happened on presidents' day other than going to my parents' place to have dinner then coming back home. the temperature today was a seasonable 30's.

unlike yesterday, when i came home tonight the house reeked of chinese cooking. not only that but the foyer light was on, courtesy of my roommate who doesn't believe in energy conservation. i asked her if she went out today. she said her former student dropped by her new apartment with an unwanted desk and a bookcase.

a few days ago i discovered the floating camera in skyrim; today i figured out how to hide the displays ("tm: toggle menus") for taking completely unobstructed screenshots. i explored silverdrift lair followed by ironbind barrow. ironbind ends at an overlook close to the summit of a mountain. scaling to the very top revealed a dwarven temple. that's where also a frost dragon attacked. later i climbed down the mountain and visited mount anthor, a dragon's lair (was it the dragon i killed earlier? could be, since the lair was empty). all 3 locations revealed word walls.
