it was raining today but nothing like what was reported on the national news. according to them, it's like a deluge, with death and destruction and reporters standing outside in hurricane force winds drowning live on camera. sure, if you had an umbrella chances are you were carrying it inverted. and when i sat in the car parked illegally outside the supermarket for 30 minutes waiting for my father, the rain crackled on the windshield and the wind was strong enough that it rocked the car like an earthquake. another thing i noticed was the water in the toilet bowl softly undulating like miniature waves due to the strong wind pressures.

i actually thought there'd be lulls during the rainstorm when i could ride into boston today, but the rain was pretty persistent throughout the day. i ate some bacon, did some laundry, played some videogames, then got a ride to belmont for dinner, before driving one of the cars back to my place.
