based on amanda's tip that MIT was having their commencement ceremony this morning, i went to microcenter first to return the broken hard drive dock before checking out the graduation activity. the service was still going on when i got there, and i basically walked around a bit and took a few photos before leaving. i went to the cafe briefly where i had some curry rice for lunch.

rain had been forecasted for all this past week but i barely saw any precipitation. not leaving it up to mother nature anymore to water my garden, i went and watered it myself. i met fellow gardener greta, who has the plot adjacent to mine underneath the mulberry tree. she just inherited the plot this year, and was previously at a shadier plot on the other side of the community garden. and by shadier i mean where all the prostitutes and drug dealers hang out.

i didn't leave the house for the rest of the day. for dinner i finished up the rest of my chicken broth with vietnamese pho noodles. still later i took a bath. it was so hot in the tub, i actually came out and watched some television before going back for a second soak.
