went to the library again this morning, got a central asian history book for my roommate. apparently he has the chinese version but the translation is so bad it's almost impossible to read. there was a storm coming and i wanted to get home before it started to rain. turned out it was a light misting at most, nothing too bad. it took me just a day to finish reading i love you, beth cooper. not as funny as youth in revolt but a more believable plot. i saw that they're turning beth cooper into a movie, starring hayden panettiere as beth (i kind of don't agree with the casting). not sure who i'd pick, but definitely somebody a little hotter and a little taller (and maybe not so famous).

i had a can of chef boyardee ravioli for lunch, then for dinner made some chicken pita. this time i played around with peanut sauce, adding more salt and a few teaspoons of hot sauce. sometime in the late afternoon i fell asleep, one of the dangers of working on the couch. i woke up a few hours later to watch the red sox game.

actually, i stopped paying attention to the game once the devil rays were up 5-0. i turned to it when i realized it was still on, and because julie was feeding me updates via instant message. i was still expecting them to lose, but happy to be proven wrong when j.d. drew smacked a ball in the bottom of the 9th to score youkilis. i gave a yell at my television before realizing my roommate might be sleeping. the two games in florida will be tough though. hopefully the sox are starting to heat up again. the season isn't quite over yet! we may still have parade after all.
