2:05pm

i went with my father to the airport this morning to pick up my grandmother arriving from san jose (she'll be staying in town for the next 6 weeks). while he waited outside, i went inside to meet her and help with the luggage. after dropping her off at the cafe, i got a ride back to belmont to pick up the motorcycle. i visited the fidelity office in kendall square to transfer some money before going to the cafe once more to get some lunch and then go home.

a lot has changed in the garden since i last visited (3 days ago). the raspberry patch i've inherited already have some ripe berries. they seem to be a special variety, as big as a large grape and peach-colored. the cucumbers seem to be thriving, sending out tendrils, looking for something to climb on. i don't want to brag, but i think i have the best tomatoes plants. they're not the tallest, but they're thick and have large leaves; there was even a green tomato on one of the plants that i didn't notice before.

watching television in bed, i fell asleep. with the lack of work scheduled for today, it was an easy decision to make. sure, maybe i could've gone running on such a nice day, or do some naturing, but i was just too lazy to do any of that. i woke up around 7pm to catch the baseball game, eating the chinese leftover from last night for dinner, then having slice of coconut custard pie, followed by a few nectarines and some cherries.
