the only productive thing i did today was to go out running in the afternoon. i tried to work the rest of the day but i just couldn't get anything done. it was like my brain had already decided to take the day off and didn't tell me. i had more leftover pasta for lunch. after coming back from my run i went out and got some groceries. for dinner i had ramen with artichoke hearts (i don't even like artichoke, but i saw a show on the food network and was inspired). my mother and sister dropped by briefly with some shoes they'd gotten me as well as some leftover indian food.

the rest of the weekend looks to be rainy. a good night to be indoors but i can't help to think about my motorcycle parked outside, rusting in this wet weather.
