the rain continued to fall today. i planned on going running but with the weather so cold and wet, i backed out, opting to stay home and work instead. the only time i stepped outside was to move my motorcycle and to go down into the basement to check the pipes (i was taking a shower and suddenly lost water pressure, i was afraid maybe a pipe had burst, it's still a mystery as to what happened). my father dropped by in the late afternoon with a small bookshelf for my kitchen to keep some of my plants and my cooking pots. i had leftover senjianbao for dinner and watched the yankees defeat the red sox.
