tonight: wild rice served with breaded chicken cutlets topped with a relish sauce made from olives, chopped parsley, and some fresh lime juice. the question i ask myself is this: how do i like my chicken cooked? with a little salmonella please! it's no secret that i play russian roulette with my meats. the foul odor of rot is not enough of a deterrent to prevent me from cooking the hell out of expired animal flesh and having it for dinner. nevertheless, i was a little bit worried when the chicken was still slightly pink in the center, but they were heated hot enough that they continued cooking after i transferred them from the pan onto the dish.

my place smells all oily now from tonight's cooking. after dinner i watched the 2nd episode of beauty and the geek 2. i hope there will be at least one episode where tyson doesn't end up solving a rubik's cube. chris and his new partner tristin ended up surviving the elimination round. chris might be an egotistical asshole, but the guy knows his trivia: he knew gwen stefani's new clothing line (lamb) and that nick lachey was in 98 degrees (i would've guessed n'sync). too bad brandon got eliminated, he had a lot of potential that we'll never see now that he's gone. my favorite beauties are sarah (two words: "talent show") and brittany (her low-esteem is very endearing).

i've been working on the railroad all the live long day: the sweet lingo railroad that is, laying down tracks for the code choo-choo. i didn't have lunch until 3pm, i was so wired my hands were shaking while i shoved last night's leftover minimalist meatball sub (one meatball, one piece of sausage, a whole lotta of sauce) into my gaping maw. we met the deadline, so now i'm off the hook until the next one.
