i met alex at PR this morning (in cambridgeport), a project meeting for a museum exhibit we're doing down in florida. the cool thing about the job is i'll get to both design the interface then later program it; i haven't touch design work in a long time, not since my days at screen house 3 job seasons ago. the meeting ended around noon, alex and i went to the whole foods cafe to get some lunch afterwards. figuring it'd be all sorts of high-end health-conscious bland food, we were surprised to see they were serving blue ribbon barbecue. alex, still on the atkins, wasted no time going straight for the meat. after lunch we parted ways.

it took me less than 10 minutes to get down to copley square, to the BPL, where the exhibition crew had been working since 9am this morning putting up more displays. the historical artifacts had arrived and a curator was putting them into the glass cases, while a pair of workers went around hanging framed documents. i helped tape displays for about an hour before we all migrated to the AAHM back on beacon hill. resident cars parked on the street apparently don't move much because i parked in the exact same spot i parked at yesterday. we stayed there until 5:30 (the captions finally arrived) before we all left.

back at home, i wavered between sleep and consciousness on the couch, finally waking up to get some dinner in the form of canned corn chowder. processed-licious!
