though technically it's a company holiday (martin luther king jr.'s birthday), it's one of those floating ones so i'm opting to take it when the weather's nice instead of today, when the weather's bad (20 degrees, 10 degrees with the wind chill), but apparently still warm enough for me to go running during lunchtime. i made it as far the last foot bridge before mass ave. not only was it cold (the wind nearly knocked me down to the ground a few times) but the roads were covered in a thin layer of glistening ice, the most dangerous kind. i ran on the icy grass, then i came back just as quickly as i went out. for lunch i had some beef pan fried noodle takeout ($5) from that upstairs eatery place in chinatown. not the best food but it's cheap. i tried to get smelly tofu but the taiwan cafe was closed today. back at home, i had two meat buns then watched the sweet hot iowa caucus action. i'm very happy with the results, kerry was my favorite before clark entered the race. i'm not so hot about dean, he seems one gamma ray shy of becoming the hulk. i still prefer clark, but if kerry gets the democratic nomination i'll be pretty happy with that as well.

he'll do

hotness!

grrr!
