exhausting! my father and i saw 9 open houses today, 10 if you count the one we went to but got there too late. all places in the cambridge area, i think we found one with some promise near harvard square. it's a basement apartment, but the inside looks new and furnished with modern indemnities (jacuzzi bath, in-house washer/dryer), with its own deck area and parking space. we also inadvertedly wandered into a large (2000+ square feet) condominium that's actually a converted church (the bell tower with bell comes included with the apartment, not kidding). the space was amazing, spacious ceilings, great view of boston, everything wood, everything marble. price? $1.3 million.

next weekend, if all goes right, i shouldn't be at anymore open houses, but rather, i should be somewhere in the mediterranean sea, off the coast of turkey, working on my tan!
